The Parent Staff Association (PSA) seeks to support and help create a superior educational environment for the students at Heron Pond Montessori School. The PSA aims to facilitate growth and communication throughout the HPMS community. Consisting of parent and staff volunteers, the group has two primary functions: fundraising and advocacy.
The PSA implements fundraising opportunities with the main focus on a large spring event. Funds raised are typically used to provide supplemental classroom materials, expand on our outdoor play spaces, HMPS scholarship, and defray the cost of Montessori teacher training.
The PSA is also in place to provide advocacy on behalf of the teachers, students, and parents of HPMS. We meet once per month to discuss any issues concerning the school and we welcome feedback and suggestions from anyone in our HPMS family.
